How a Career Accelerator is structured

Here’s what you’ll experience on your six-month journey

  • ASSESSMENT

    Find out if it’s for you

    Before you sign up, get personalised guidance to help you define where you want to take your career next – and if a Career Accelerator can help you get there. You’ll start with an important step: a quick chat with an Enrolment Advisor. They can share course information, answer nuanced questions, and have a human conversation with you about whether or not the programme is right for you.

  • ORIENTATION

    Get set up for success

    Being intentional about your goals is the best way to make them happen, so you’ll meet your Success Manager and Career Coach before the programme starts. They’ll help you map out a tailored approach to your next six months that considers your aspirations, limitations, and biggest opportunities. You’ll also access the learning environment and onboarding materials to get settled in.

  • STRUCTURE

    Discover how you’ll learn

    The Career Accelerator is made up of three courses and a final live business project. During each course, you’ll engage with a variety of media that brings to life what you learn. You’ll be asked to commit 15-20 hours to studying every week, but how you fit that into your life is up to you. Your Success Manager will work with you to design a personalised plan to achieve your goals – plus, they’ll keep you on track and accountable.

    Work on a real-world assignment

    The Employer Project immerses you in a real work setting. You’ll apply the full range of your capabilities to develop workable solutions to a real business challenge and get direct feedback from a team on the ground. It’s an excellent opportunity to put your new skills to the test in the real world and build experience that will differentiate you from your peers as you make your next career move.

  • COACHING

    Feel confident to chase your goals

    It’s normal to question yourself at all stages of your career – wondering what the next step is, how to do more work you love, or what the best way is to make a change. That’s why we’ve made career coaching an integral part of our programmes. Maybe it’s something you’ve never experienced before but trust us, once you try it, you’ll wonder why you waited so long. You’ll work with your Career Coach in a way that’s personalised to you, to help you achieve long-term fulfilment in your career.

  • CERTIFICATE

    Get recognised for your learning

    Once you graduate from a Career Accelerator, you’ll not only leave with practical evidence of your work but also a certificate from a leading university. It takes dedication to learn at this level – the academic standards of universities are high, and your certificate is proof that you’ve undergone rigorous training to develop your new knowledge and skills. Apply your learnings in the Employer Project

Want a compelling story to tell in interviews? Well, here it is.

Together with a small group of your peers, you’ll work on a live business project set by a real company. Over six weeks, you’ll become an extended part of their team and get a real feel for what it’s like to work in that role.

Not only will you start to feel confident in the relevance of your skills; you can also use the solution you develop as practical proof of your experience.
