  1. Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the 2025 Headstart Package benefits, learners must:

    • Complete an application and pay their deposit during the promotional period (8-29 November)
    • Be actively enrolled in the programme as paying participants.
    • Remain in good standing with all programme requirements.
    • Comply with specific terms for each benefit to maintain eligibility.
  2. Fair Usage Policy
To ensure equitable access to benefits:

    • Duration of Benefits: Some benefits have specific timeframes (e.g. extended coaching is available for up to 12 months from programme start).
    • Access Limitations: Specific usage limits apply to benefits like coaching sessions or networking event attendance to maintain a fair experience for all.
    • Scope of Benefits: Each benefit focuses on career-related support and does not substitute for unrelated services (e.g. personal therapy or training not related to career goals).
  3. Termination of Participation in Benefits: Access to specific benefits may be terminated under the following circumstances:

    • Completion of Objective: Once the intended goal of a benefit is achieved, eligibility for further access to that benefit ends.
    • Non-Compliance: Failure to comply with programme or benefit-specific terms may result in termination of all Headstart Package benefits.
    • Voluntary Withdrawal: Learners may withdraw from a benefit at any time; re-enrollment is not guaranteed.
    • Repeated Non-Engagement: Frequent cancellations or lack of engagement may result in the suspension of access to certain benefits.
  4. Pausing and Reinstating Benefits

  5. Modification of Terms
FourthRev reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions. Continued participation in the Headstart Package constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
  6. Dispute Resolution
In case of disagreements, the Head of Student Success will review and provide a final decision.
  7. Limitation of Liability

  8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by UK law, with disputes subject to UK jurisdiction.

Benefit-Specific Terms and Conditions

Each benefit in the Headstart Package is subject to the following specific terms and conditions:

2. Priority Project Selection

This benefit offers early enrollees the chance to select a project based on their career goals. Participation is offered on a first come, first-served basis to the first 40 early enrollees who secure a spot in the programme during the promotional period of 8–29 November 2024. Please review the following conditions:

2.1 Limited Availability

Only the first 40 early enrollees will have access to the “Priority Project Selection” option. Once the limit is reached, additional early enrolees will be placed on a waiting list, prioritised for project preferences if spots become available.

2.2 Project Allocation Process:

2.2.1 Matching Process: Learners will be matched to employer projects based on a combination of preferences, including industry interest, availability, time zones, and team dynamics. While we will endeavour to honour learner preferences, final project allocation will also consider factors such as team composition and availability.

2.2.2 Sector Preferences, Not Specific Employers: At the time of enrolment, learners will have the option to specify their preferred industry sectors (e.g., finance, logistics) rather than specific employers. This information helps us align projects where possible and informs our partnerships with employer organisations.

2.2.3 Balanced Teams:In order to ensure an optimal learning experience, we aim to keep team sizes at a maximum of 6 learners. We may limit the number of learners per project team to maintain balanced, effective collaboration.

2.3 Project Assignment Limitations:

2.3.1 Dependent on Employer Partners:

Project choices are dependent on which partners are confirmed for the programme. While we work to secure a range of partners, we cannot guarantee specific employers or industries.

2.3.2 Availability of Preferred Employers: In cases where a particular employer is highly preferred, we may reach capacity on certain teams. Learners are advised that availability for some employer projects may be limited, and we cannot guarantee assignment to a specific employer project.

2.3.3 Priority for Waiting List Learners:

Learners on the waiting list will be given priority consideration for project preferences if additional spots open up. However, we may not be able to accommodate all preferences due to project and team size constraints.

2.4 Finality of Project Allocation:

2.4.1 No Guaranteed Choice:

Although we will take preferences into account, final allocation of employer projects remains at the discretion of FourthRev and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Learners are advised that they may not receive their top employer choice.

2.4.2 Fairness to All Learners:

To ensure a fair experience, later enrollees and learners who complete programme requirements diligently may also be given consideration in project assignments.

3. Extended Career Coaching

The extended career coaching benefit offers learners ongoing coaching sessions to help them achieve a specific, predefined career goal. The following terms apply:

3.1 Eligibility and Participation

This benefit is available for up to 12 months from programme start. Learners must maintain good standing within the programme and be actively engaged in the coaching process to remain eligible.

3.2 Setting Career Goals and Objectives

3.2.1 Learners will define a measurable career goal with their coach, including specific milestones and target dates to track progress. These goals will be documented in the Career Coaching Tracker.

3.2.2 Timing of Goal Setting: Learners are expected to engage in goal-setting discussions and establish their career objective before the programme concludes. Postponing goal-setting until after the programme may impact eligibility for continued coaching support.

3.3 Frequency and Scope of Sessions

3.3.1 Session Frequency: Learners are entitled to up to two coaching sessions per month, provided they complete any actions assigned in prior sessions.

3.3.2 Focus of Coaching: Coaching sessions are intended solely for career development, job search support, and related objectives. Coaching is not a substitute for unrelated support or personal therapy.

3.4 Actions and Responsibilities

After each session, learners are expected to complete agreed-upon actions and update their coach on progress. This ensures that the coaching process remains effective and goal-oriented.

3.5 Modification of Career Goals

Career goals may be re-evaluated and modified once every six months, considering changes in the job market or the learner’s progress. Modifications require mutual agreement between the learner and coach.

3.6 Cancellation Policy for Coaching Sessions

3.6.1 Repeated Cancellations: Learners who cancel two or more sessions within 24 hours of the scheduled time, or have two no-shows, may lose eligibility for extended career coaching. In such cases, the learner’s access to coaching will be terminated, and any remaining sessions will be forfeited.

3.6.2 Exceptional Circumstances: Coaches may, at their discretion, accommodate exceptional circumstances. However, repeated cancellations without valid reasons may result in termination of access to the extended coaching benefit.

3.7 Termination of Extended Coaching

Coaching will end upon achievement of the career goal, or if non-compliance with terms occurs (e.g., repeated session cancellations, failure to complete actions). If a learner pauses or withdraws from the programme, coaching access will be suspended or terminated as applicable.

3.8 External Factors

When factors outside FourthRev’s or the learner’s control significantly limit career opportunities, the coaching process may be re-evaluated to ensure alignment with the learner’s circumstances. Please refer to the detailed terms and conditions specifically related to extended career coaching services, which also apply, here: https://fourthrev.com/obc-terms-and-conditions/.

4. Early Alumni Networking Access

This component provides early access to FourthRev-run alumni networking events beginning in January 2025. Please note the following conditions:

4.1 Access Scope: The alumni networking events will feature alumni from various FourthRev Career Accelerator programmes, offering cross-programme networking opportunities. These events are designed to help learners build industry connections, gain career insights, and explore potential opportunities within their fields and careers.

4.2 Timing and Structure:

4.2.1 Scheduled Dates: Networking events will begin in January 2025, and details will be communicated in advance.

4.2.2. Event Structure: Each networking event will be a structured opportunity to connect with alumni, offering either virtual or in-person sessions, depending on availability, alumni geographic spread, and programme structure.

4.3 Participation Requirements:

4.3.1 Learners must register in advance to secure a spot at each networking event, as attendance may be limited to ensure quality interaction with alumni.

4.3.2 FourthRev reserves the right to limit the number of participants per event to maintain an effective and productive
networking environment.

4.4. Networking Scope:

4.4.1 No Guaranteed Job Opportunities: While these events are designed to foster connections, learners should be aware that networking is intended for relationship building and insights rather than immediate job offers or guaranteed employment opportunities.
