Course 1: Understanding users
Truly understanding users requires a combination of technical skills (such as research methodologies, user recruitment techniques and analytical frameworks) as well as interpersonal skills, including empathy, active listening, collaboration and observation. In this course, you’ll acquire a wide range of technical and human skills that are at the core of the UX design role.

Course 2: Designing for user needs
In this course, you'll explore the iterative processes that shape the creation of wireframes and prototypes. You'll learn how UX designers collaborate within Agile teams to discover, visualise, test, and refine ideas, weaving them into user-centred designs. By understanding the intricacies of user flows, information architecture, and interaction design principles, you'll develop the expertise to craft accessible and meaningful user experiences.

Course 3: User-centred optimisation
Throughout Course 3, you’ll learn how to design and build high-fidelity prototypes and prepare them for design handoff, the process in which you deliver design work to the development team for build. In addition, you’ll focus on continuous optimisation, which is all about incorporating user feedback and data to continuously improve a UX experience. You’ll also have the opportunity to conclude your work on HabitHero and develop additional case study work for your portfolio in Module 5: Continuous optimisation and Module 6: Developing your UX career.

Employer Project
Here you'll put your new skills to work in a practical business project based on a real design challenge set by a real-world company. You’ll work in groups to find the best solution and present your work in the final week. The result is a relevant case study you can add to your portfolio.
Who you’ll learn from
