You’ll start with two weeks of Orientation, where you’ll get comfortable with the online learning platform, connect with fellow learners, and plan your studies. You’ll also meet your Success Manager and Career Coach, who will help you personalise your plan of attack to achieve your version of success.

Learn to frame a business question, then work across Excel, Power BI and SQL to answer it. You'll clean and analyse data, query relational and cloud databases including through natural language, and build interactive dashboards, using and verifying the AI features built into each tool as you go. Data ethics and accessibility standards are applied throughout.

What you'll produce: An interactive analytics dashboard built around a real business scenario, incorporating Excel analysis, Power BI visualisations, SQL-based insights with natural language querying, a written report and a recorded presentation of key findings.

Develop your Python analytics workflow from the ground up, working in Jupyter notebooks under Git version control. You'll manipulate and visualise data, access external data through APIs and cloud databases, and build AI-assisted workflows you verify with precision, recall and F1-score. Provenance and reproducibility standards apply to all AI-assisted work.

What you'll produce: A set of Python analysis notebooks and a written report, documenting data manipulation, visualisation and external data access workflows, with AI-assisted analysis verified and clearly communicated for a stakeholder audience.

Start with the statistical foundations, distributions, hypothesis testing and the difference between statistical and business significance, then build and evaluate regression, classification, clustering and NLP sentiment analysis models. You'll design and interpret A/B tests, automate analytical workflows into scheduled scripts with GitHub Actions, and direct and supervise an AI assistant through an analysis loop while staying accountable for the result.

What you'll produce: A predictive analytics report and business presentation, synthesising regression, decision tree, clustering and sentiment analysis workflows into a coherent set of evidence-based recommendations.

Apply the full toolkit from Courses 1 to 3 to a live brief set by an industry Employer Partner. Working in a small group, you'll analyse the partner's real datasets, develop data-informed recommendations and present them to the organisation. The Employer Partner sets the brief, reviews your progress midway and attends the final presentation. You’ll walk away with the kind of end-to-end analytical experience that distinguishes a strong interview candidate.
